Premonition Pictures is an independent media production group that was founded in early 2007 by Derek Klein and Marc Morin Jr. for the production of “SECOND LIFE”, a short film by Klein. The goal of this group was to provide the technical resources and funding for student produced media in Champaign, Illinois. In mid 2009, the team moved to Los Angeles, California where they hope to find careers in screenwriting, production, and directing.

Premonition is best known for the web-series “ONE FINE DAY!” which it produced throughout 2007 and 2008 with students from the University of Illinois, the University of Wisconsin, the University of Iowa, and the University of Michigan. The series focused on the lives of six resident advisers who attempted to maintain control in one of the dormitories of a midwestern university. A success, the series was picked up by both the O.S.T.N. multi-campus network and multiple Illinois public broadcasting networks, and online venues. The complete series was released through Amazon.com on DVD in October of 2008.

Currently, Premonition Pictures is in post-production on their first feature length project, “A CERTAIN POINT OF VIEW”, scheduled for DVD release in December, 2009.
